The Wheelchair Service has a dedicated team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and technicians will assess your clinical needs and provide you with a wheelchair and postural support seating that’s right for you.
They will continue to support you with maintenance and periodic reviews to see how you are getting on.
They are not able to treat anyone with a temporary disability which stops them walking, for example if you have broken your leg.
All ages
Adults or children with a permanent disability, must be registered with a GP in the mid Essex area.
Referral by a healthcare professional, such as a GP, nurse or physiotherapist required.

As well as their wheelchair clinics they can also provide home, hospital and school/college visits
